There must be some truth in the rumour that the more fees you pay the earlier school breaks up. Certainly applied when WStar and S were growing up and attending the local government schools as we never broke up for summer break until the very last Friday before Christmas.
Kingsley has started her holidays attending a Taekwondo birthday party for a dear friend from school. The girls had a wonderful time , coming home with a fabulous lolly bag and certificate of achievement. Ahubby and Kingsley spent the afternoon mowing the weeds in the front yard then heading out to the hills to attend a friend's pre Christmas/end of year get together while S spread out on the couch watching the PGA Golf in Coolum on the Sunshine Coast until she fell asleep.

We of the government schools are lucky to have two more weeks of kid free time before Christmas. However, that also means two more weeks of tired ratty I-don't-want-to-go-to-school/baseball/swimming/insert activity here kids.
AND, my kids are STILL getting homework. The guv'ment makes 'em do so much learnin'.
Move over! I want to nap on the couch, too. You host Rob's office Christmas party tonight and I'll nap on your couch.
Put me in the lucky column too! J.T. doesn't get out until December 20th! Why does time go so slowly when you're under 25 and so quickly once your past it?
