Topdown motoring

Forget about Queensland - Beautiful One Day Perfect the Next! Try Victoria! Today Melbournites enjoyed a glorious winter day with a top of 22 degrees Celsius! Perfect for top down motoring in Ahubby's new baby. TeamSAK enjoyed a great family day out and about after picking Kingsley up from her friend's ten pin bowling birthday party. After a kerbside lunch in an outdoor cafe we hit the road sans roof and visited friends. Another great day is forecast for Sunday.

Ironically MoS and DoS are up north on the their annual follow the sun caravan trek. For the last 2 days they have been marooned in the caravan park on evacuation alert after the Noosa River broke its banks due the rain deluge. It was serious flooding almost at the level of the infamous 1992 flood of 1.8m. They have managed to safely escape the " non" sunshine coast and are heading back south to home to enjoy better weather!

Hmmm...

Melbourne: Beautiful one day...raining the next. Have you looked out the window? Yes, it was glorious yesterday...but alas, shortlived.

Chuckling about the 'non-sunshine coast'! Hope the MoS and DoS have a safe journey south.
