After coming under direct attack for lacking any semblance of a green thumb S has now been given a chance of redemption. Anne , a very dear friend, on a Human Research Ethics Committee I am a member of, dropped in unexpectedly today bearing a beautiful cyclamen.
It seems that some one does have faith in me being able to nuture a plant through the extremes of winter and beyond.

I can assure you that after the embarrassment of the orchid blog entry I do not intend to have to show a similar after photo here.
The best plants are the kind that look after them selves.
