Slave labour at school
Kingsley came home from school excited about the extra curricular school activity . Seems a few of the gang were hand picked to help the school gardener with season plantings at the expense of core class room learning. Don't get me wrong! I am all for a comprehensive education for children but why is my child always picked to help? Maybe I should be billing the school for her labour costs next time the school fees are requested.

I remember at my primary school it was a big "treat" for the Year 7 girls to do the washing up in the staff room after recess...after my parents had a word to my teacher, I was the only Year 7 girl who didn't get to experience this "treat"...
KelpieBlossom is in the "Gardening Club" at school. At least this form of slave labour is in her lunch hour.
